Announcing our Series B: The next phase of our journey transforming how strategic deals are done

This week marks an exciting milestone in Databook’s history as we announce the raise of our Series B and prepare to double down on hiring to support our rapid growth.
Reflecting on Series A Success
Since our note celebrating our Series A a short 9 months ago, we have increased our valuation 5.5x and we’ve doubled our team size fleshing out a world-class leadership team with technology veterans from leading enterprises who define global business success including Google, Treasure Data, Accenture, Salesforce, and Oracle.
Looking Toward the Future
As we look toward the future, it’s absolutely critical that we continue this trajectory and deliver expert-level quality in terms of the insight, enterprise-grade security, and application usability to our clients. That’s why we plan to hire 100 people and double our team size yet again this year to support ongoing innovation, expansion into new verticals and geographies, and meet the demands of the biggest, most demanding B2B organizations in the world, including Microsoft, Salesforce, and Databricks.
Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion
One of the recent stats I’m most proud of is that 38% of our company is now from traditionally underrepresented communities in technology. Not only are we growing at warp-speed and providing some of the world’s largest businesses sizable value – but we are doing so in a way that is supportive and inclusive. We are building a culture that is committed not only to the business and customer’s success but to the success of our teammates as well. And our team is growing with us; nearly 1/5th of our employee base earned a promotion in the last year. Every member of our team is a leader, and this culture is exactly what our hyper-growth demands and leads to a firehose of learning for all of us.
