Head of People Operations
Natalie Kroll is the Head of People Operations at Databook, where our vision is to empower individuals to achieve their best work. In this role, she oversees all facets of HR, including talent acquisition and development, employee experience, and the company’s global strategy and compliance.
Prior to Databook she led People initiatives at Mantra Bio and earlier in her career served as the Head of People at Bluescape. Natalie holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from SJSU, is a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR), and has studied Mediation and Conflict Resolution at UC Berkeley. She enjoys snowboarding and boxing and lives in the Bay Area.
Head of Finance
Bringing over 15 years of Finance experience to Databook, Evan Thomas serves as Head of Finance and manages the team responsible for all financial operations including FP&A, the controllership, audit, tax, legal, deal desk, procurement and treasury.
Prior to joining in 2022, Evan led corporate and sales FP&A at Avalara and led FP&A at K2 Nintex, focusing on driving executable business decisions while building finance organizations from the ground up. Evan is passionate about finance and building strong efficient teams.
Evan holds an MBA in Global Finance from Thunderbird and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Asbury University. Evan currently lives in Phoenix and enjoys international travel and learning about new cultures.
VP, Global Sales
David is the Vice President of Global Sales at Databook, responsible for leading Databook’s sales team.
David brings over 20 years of experience in sales and sales leadership. He joined Databook in 2020, growing accounts in his territory into the company’s largest clients and leading a team of Client Partners. Prior to Databook, David held sales and sales leadership roles at Yext, Sprinklr, Jive Software, Oracle, Confluence, and more. Throughout his career, David has built strategic relationships with clients across the CPG, retail, financial services, pharmaceutical, and software industries.
David holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from West Virginia University. He currently lives in Pittsburgh with his wife and three kids.

Alex Barrett is a Co-founder of Databook. Alex makes Databook’s customer-centric insights relevant and actionable for our users.
Previously, Alex worked as a freelance content strategist for clients including Accenture and the World Economic Forum. He also brings a decade of experience as a journalist, researching and producing television documentaries for the BBC.
Alex graduated in Modern Languages from Cambridge University.

Ivan Galea is the Chief Technology Officer, leading AI, Engineering, and Product Management. With a proven track record of partnering with C-suite executives and Boards of Directors, Ivan excels in unlocking and scaling business value through data and AI capabilities.
Ivan’s extensive experience spans high-growth environments across multiple industries, where he has consistently created innovative data products that bridge the gap between technical and business needs. His leadership encompasses AI/ML, analytics/data science, product management, and data engineering, with significant roles at Atlassian, Box, PayPal, and in Wall Street. He has also advised numerous tech startups.
Ivan holds a Ph.D. from Yale University, a Master’s Degree from the University of Pittsburgh, and a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Malta.
SVP, GTM Operations
Katherine Lovelace is SVP, GTM Operations and is responsible for overseeing GTM teams across the customer lifecycle, inclusive of Customer Success, Customer Support, Product Marketing, Solutions Consulting, Revenue Operations, and Community to bring synergies and scalability across these areas of the business. The integration of these key functions under one umbrella allows Databook to bring about innovative solutions and strategies, driving growth and success. Previously, she served as Databook’s VP, Customer Strategy, responsible for building and scaling world-class Strategy & Operations and Value Architect teams.
Prior to joining Databook, Katherine has worked in a variety of consulting and strategy roles, building Value Engineering/Value Realization programs, developing GTM strategies for new market opportunities and developing operational frameworks across GTM teams for both large SaaS companies and startups. Katherine is passionate about delivering value across every stage of the customer lifecycle and building high performing teams.
Katherine holds a MBA from Wharton, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Int’l Political Science from UCLA.

Anand Shah is CEO and Co-founder of Databook. Anand brings to Databook more than 15 years of experience as an expert in consulting Fortune 500 CXOs on how companies drive top-line growth for the enterprise. Before founding Databook, Anand was an Engagement Partner at Accenture Strategy, leading their engagement with the World Economic Forum on Digital Transformation, and a global lead for Accenture’s Strategic Insights group.
Anand holds a dual-MBA from Columbia Business School and London Business School, a Master’s Degree in Finance from the University of Reading, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Imperial College London.
